Welcome to the 2023/2024 school year! The Schalm PTO is committed to providing fun, enriching activities for our Schalm children. As a PTO we are dedicated to helping our families and teachers have a successful school year. Here are ways you can get involved and stay connected:

• Visit our Facebook Page - Please follow us and join our Facebook Group to stay connected to other Schalm families.

• Become a Member - Membership dues ($6 individual/$12 family) account for a large percentage of our budget.

• Attend a PTO meeting - We host monthly  PTO meetings where we discuss  upcoming events, and our current budget. This is the place to bring up any ideas you may have for fun events, or other ways to support our Schalm children. This is also a great place to hear from Principal Sines and other staff about what is going on at Schalm.

Important: If any person would like attend school events or volunteer during school hours: You MUST fill out a volunteer form and complete a background check with the front office. The Schalm PTO does not perform background checks, and PTO membership is not required to volunteer at the school. A volunteer form and background check are required to attend and/or volunteer at all school-day events (field day, book fairs). We love our volunteers!! Please fill out your form today. Filled-out forms should be printed, signed, and submitted to the front office with a copy of your ID (or bring your ID, and a staff member can make this copy for you). There is no charge for this service. Background checks typically take 10 days to complete.
